It's here, it's here!  March is Reading Month, one of our favorite times of year!  Stop in the library or see your ELA teacher to get a READ-O card for a chance to win books and other awesome prizes.  One of your first choices is to tell us 3 of your all-time favorite reads.  You can do that here!  You can also submit your survey of 5 people and their favorite books here.

Book Club

Book Club is back!  Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 6 in room 607.  Hope to see you there!  This year, we're discussing the following books: Ghost by Jason Reynolds; Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier; Moo by Sharon Creech; Pax by Sara Pennypacker; The Seventh Most Important Thing by Shelley Pearsall; Snow White by Matt Phelan; When the Sea Turned to Silver by Grace Lin. Read one, or read them all!

Author Terrie Libenson visits WMS!

WMS was honored to welcome author Terri Libenson on May 5, 2017!  She shared writing and artwork from her new book, Invisible Emmie.  Two students were even challenged to a draw-off on stage and were able to try their hand at drawing the characters Emmie and Katie.  Thank you to our sponsor, Bookbug, for providing our students with this tremendous opportunity!
